PAWS PARK IS CELEBRATING OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY!! –OCTOBER 4
The Friends of Paws Park invite you to help us celebrate the Park’s Fifth Anniversary on October 4, Saturday, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the South Williamsport Community Park with a COMMUNITY WALK.
Please join us in walking the 1 and the ½ mile loops once or twice and then let your puppy play at the park while you use a participation discount to visit the Paws Park Merchandise table; we plan to have some new items! Proceeds will benefit Paws Park.
We will also be looking for volunteers to join us in walking in the Mummer’s Parade on October 18.
The South Williamsport K9 Police Unit will be joining us with 2015 calendars for sale featuring sponsored K9 Police Dogs from Vested Interest in K9’s. Dani is the September’s featured K9 Officer! Proceeds will benefit the K9 Unit. Even more exciting, at the 2014 Annual Doggone motorcycle Benefit this past Spring, K9 Officer Devin auctioned his services as a dog walker. The time has come to pay up! The winner of the dog walk is a 12 lb. Min Pin named EmmyLou, who has her best pink tutu ready and can’t wait for her spin around the loops! Photos and cheering are encouraged.
